Smart Lock & Entry
The Basalt Stay uses a key-code smart lock on the front door, so you can check in and out easily without keys.
How to unlock
- Wake the keypad by pressing any button.
- Enter the code provided in your check-in email, then the lock symbol.
- Wait for the green light and a click — then pull the handle down to open.
How to lock
- Close the door firmly.
- Press the lock symbol for 2 seconds on the keypad.
- Wait for the confirmation beep and light before leaving.
Tips
- If the lock doesn’t respond, wake it with the lock button and try again.
- Always double-check the door is secure when leaving.
- If the keypad becomes unresponsive, there’s a backup battery slot under the keypad — please contact us and we’ll help straight away.
