Scoutie is twelve years old and has taken to growing potatoes in the backyard at The Basalt Stay with quiet determination and plenty of fun. Pink Eyes are Tasmania’s most loved potato, and these ones are grown in the backyard at The Basalt Stay by Scoutie, who is twelve years old. With creamy flesh and a delicate flavour, they shine when prepared simply - boiled with butter, mint or olive oil. A seasonal harvest lifted straight from our soil.
